March of Dimes March for Babies

Just so I don't confuse any of you, these are pictures of Lexie over two years ago. It's fun to look at them and remember how small she was.

We are participating again in the March of Dimes, March for Babies. This is an event that has become a family tradition for us. Because of the March of Dimes we have our little Lexie! We have a family website at www.marchforbabies.org/AlexisRRowley that you can go check out. We appreciate the support from our family and friends. If any of you want to join us on the walk it is this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Registration is at 9:00 a.m. If you walked last year and still have your Navy shirts, wear them again. Thanks again! We love you all!

Nap Time

I'm not sure how this can be comfortable, but here's Lexie having her nap in the rocking chair.

Big Helpers!

Sometimes it is easier to just let them help and when they are done re-do it. This is Lexie and Karissa helping mop the kitchen floor. Lexie would get the water and suds all over and Karissa would clean them up.

Growing up too fast!

So a few weeks ago I took Lexie in for her nap. She was determined that she wasn't going to have a nap. She threw her leg up on the rail of the crib then pulled herself with both arms up so she was straddeling the rail, then over came the other leg. I was just glad that I was standing there to catch her as she was going to jump, no matter how far down the ground was. I placed her back in her crib and left the room, but watched through the crack in the unclosed door. She again tried to escape, and I ran in and caught her again. So after talking with Jim we decided to set the toddler bed up for her. Lexie was so excited about this. Jim set the bed up and Lexie went right in and laid down in it. She stayed there for quite awhile under her covers and it wasn't even nap time yet.

Lexie has been our easiest child to put to bed. We have just gone and put her in bed and she has gone to sleep. I was worried about how she would do in the toddler bed. She has struggled with taking naps because she knows everyone else is awake, so why should she sleep. I try to make her stay in her room even if she doesn't nap. I have gone in a few times and found her asleep in the rocking chair with her doll. She does really well at night. Once in awhile I hear her cry, but she has settled herself down and gone back to sleep. She came in once in the night and just stood by my bed. It was as if she didn't know what to do, unlike the other girls that come and tap on my arm while staring in my face from 3 inches away until I'm awake. I thought Lexie looked so cute just standing there that I woke Jim up to see her. He was half asleep and just got up and put her back in bed. She has to sleep with all of her animals. She has Wormy, Caterpillar, Moosey, Patty, Piggy, Doggy, and Baby. Oh, and don't forget her drink of water and blankie.....All of these are necessary for her to go to bed.

I can't wait until I'm Eight.....

Brindley Jo was Baptized on the 29th of March! It was a very special day. We had alot of family show up. Some even got up at 4:00 a.m. just to be here. Thank You! It was quite an emotional experience for me to have my first child baptized. I'm thankful for the choice Brindley has made. She is growing up so fast. She is such a great help with her sisters. She is a happy girl who loves to make friends with anyone. She is always looking for ways to help others. I love you Brindley Jo!
The only other girl to get baptized had the same dress as Brindley. She is also in our ward. They looked so cute standing side-by-side in their new white dresses. They both wore them to church on Sunday and for Sacrament meeting were invited to sit on the stand as the newest members of the Hyrum 15th Ward. Notice, their shoes are almost the same!

Jim's Birthday!

Happy Birthday Jim! (Last Week)
Jim likes to have apple pie for his birthday instead of cake. This pie was well ventilated by the time all of the candles came out.
We Love You!
