A Smile for Today!

Lexie was the last one at the dinner table. She tells me, "Mom, if I'm not at the table, don't get mad at me. It's my body's fault. This food is just so delicious that my body just wants to dance."

Lexie was opening a package that had wires and plastic tags through the cardboard. She says, "Those Darn Chinese! They make it so hard to get into these things!"

In Relief Society I recieved a handout with a piece of licorice attached. I gave the licorice to Lexie. She says to me, "Do they always give you licorice at Relief Society?" I answer, "No."
She says, "Just when you been good, Huh?"

Karissa's 8th Birthday!

Karissa, I know I am a little late and didn't get everything done for your birthday like I should have, but I want you to know that I love you and am proud of you. You are a very inteligent, brave, outgoing girl. Thanks for being who you are and for all of your help with your little sisters.

I don't have any pictures of her in her beautiful white dress she wore after her baptism. Hopefully soon I can take some and get them posted.

Karissa had a fun filled weekend. Alot of family members made the long drive. I get emotional every time I think of the sacrifice they all made to drive out here. Even the little kids and the long ride it was for them. Thank you, Thank you. You will never know how much it meant to Jim and I.
Also, thanks to all the friends that came to her baptism. It was great having all the support from the ward.

A Visit from Home

Dad, Logan and Tyrel stayed a night at our house. We couldn't let the boys go home without seeing the lake. Wish they could have stayed longer.

Swimming Lessons 2010

Lexie with her friend Jocelyn. On their last day they got to jump off the diving board. Lexie was lowered in and loved every minute of it!

Brindley surprised me this year. She loves to swim and learned how to do the breast stroke.

Karissa overcame her fear of going completely under water this year. She spent alot of time in the 11 foot pool and even jumped off the diving board.

Yes, I'll admit.....I do like some things here in Nevada. Being able to be at the beach within 25 minutes of leaving home is quite nice. This trip was with some friends from the ward, the Pedersen's. I loved hanging with them and laughing. Thanks for the great time.

Logan Trip....June

This picture got left off a previous post. Grandma and Grandpa Rowley with "the girls"!

We had so much fun visiting with friends and family while we were in Utah. The girls and I met most of the Hyrum friends at a park for lunch. Before lunch we picked up Brindley and Karissa's friends and let them hang with us while we did errands. It was so fun hearing my girls giggle with their friends again.
