When we moved from Hyrum two years ago we left our cats with my Mom and Dad. We couldn't have cats in the place we were renting in Carson. Mom tried as hard as she could to help the cats feel comfortable at her place, but the other cats my Mom had chased my cats away. They never came back. We knew this would be a possibility. For the last two years we have accepted that we wouldn't see our cats again and that they probably weren't alive anymore.
Well, lastnight Mom and I were visiting with a lady that lives here in Koosharem. Some how we got on the topic of cats. This lady mentioned she had alot of cats. Mom asked her if she happened to have any show up awhile ago...maybe a solid black one, or a black and white one. This lady confirmed that she had. She had a black and white one show up 2 years ago. She described the cat to us and shared a few things that were unique to our cat. Guess what?! It is Ebony! Our black and white cat! I was so happy that I almost cried. This lady told me how much she loved this cat and had become really attached to her. I was thrilled. I am so glad to know that Ebony....now known as Riley...has a happy home. The family that has her also owns a dairy farm, so Ebony/Riley gets fresh cows milk every morning. She still goes out hunting in the fields and hides in the bushes just like she did with us.

This picture is a few years old. This is Lexie with Ebony (the black and white one) and Chessy, Ebony's sister.
This is Ebony with her siblings.
The new owner of Ebony/Riley said we could come down and see her. The girls are so excited to see her!
