Awesome!

This is what I have been waiting for for several weeks now! A good storm! Although it would be fun to see a little more lightening! I have misplaced my camera since the reunion on Saturday so I don't have a picture of the great views out my back door of the heavy grey clouds moving across the valley releasing the cool wet rain that we pray for so often. Our windows are definately open letting in the fresh smell of rain and that wonderful cool breeze that makes you want to cuddle in a blanket with hot chocolate! Oohhh! I am so enjoying this! I even got home from a meeting late last night just as Jim was sending the kids to bed. I asked if we could go for a ride in the rain instead. So relaxing! I love it!!!

We're getting there!

We have been building the garage on our house since last fall. We are really close now to completion, and finished up a huge step today. Our siding is FINISHED!! From the outside, minus the garage door, it looks nearly complete. Here are some pics of the finished product.

A Day at the Beach!

Bear Lake!! We definately don't get there enough, but when we do, we have a blast! There's sand, seashells, seagulls, water, sun, raspberry shakes and lots of fun! Oh, and let's not forget the rosie cheeks on both ends at the end of the day! But it's all worth it! Here are a few pics from our most recent trip to Bear Lake with some of Jim's family.

Back to School!

It seems like just yesterday when I was posting about the girls getting out of school. Now they are back. We attended back to school night lastnight and let the girls meet their teachers. Karissa has the same teacher Brindley had in first grade when we first moved to Hyrum and Brindley's teacher is originally from Richfield. Their classrooms are across the hall from each other, which I thought was cool.
You would have thought it was Christmas with the girls being so excited for school. They were up and dressed by 6:30 a.m. The bus doesn't come until 8:40 a.m. They were so eager to go. I asked Lexie what we were going to do when the girls are at school and she said that we are going to go to school with them. Atleast I have her home to keep me going! I'm sure we will make lots of cookies!.

Funny side note about making cookies--(to show how often I have made cookies lately)--- My mom was asking Lexie if we were going to make cookies for the girls when they get home from school. Lexie told her that we were and that they were going to come from the store. I love homemade cookies, it's just that I eat all of them.

Anyway, here are my school girls!!

Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad! Thanks for all you do for us. You guys are such a great support and are so willing to help us when ever we need help! Thanks for your examples and for all that you have taught us. We Love You!

Fun at Grandma's!

We spent this last weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Norman's! The girls love being there. They love seeing their cousins and pretty much doing whatever they want as shown in the video. This is one of there favorite things to do at Grandma's. I'm surprised we haven't had any broken arms or something.

Pause the music so you can hear the sound. Hearing the kids squeal makes me giggle!

I can't leave out our fun ride on the mountain. We went up and checked the wild raspberries. The girls along with Jim and Suzanne started out in back of the truck. It started to rain and was so beautiful. I love the smell of the trees and everything in the mountain. Yes, when it started to rain everyone in the back got in the front. It was such an enjoyable ride. We even saw a couple big bull elk and several buck deer. Thanks for the good time Mom and Dad! Love you!

Spring Lane Reunion!!

We were invited back to our old neighborhood for a swim party. Holly was a wonderful neighbor and I'm glad that we have been able to stay close. Here are a few pictures of our fun day.

Thanks for doing this Holly! The kids had a blast and love hanging out with your kids!
